Women’s Initiatives, established by Prof. G. S. Jayasree, is a not-for-profit organization of academics and professionals committed to instilling the spirit of self-awareness in women. The broad objective is to highlight the relevance of knowledge in any endeavour for freedom. The members are committed to exploring culture-specific responses to women’s problems and are receptive to positive ideas, opinions, suggestions and constructive criticism from all quarters.
